Acoustic SignatureMicro-Tech has brought together a team of digital signal processing scientists who are devoted to the study of sound. One of their goals is to develop more refined algorithims that characterize sound and process the unique signatures of these individual sounds. We call this environmental adaptation protocal Acoustic Signature. BluWave Signal Processing characterizes incoming sounds by sorting the frequency, timing and intensity of these sound sources. Once characterized and classified, Micro-Tech's hearing instruments with Acoustic Signature applies optimal frequency and compression parameters for that specific sound source. Sounds are classified as speech, speech in noise, noise, mechanical sounds, wind and quiet — each of these is managed by a special signal processing strategy in Micro-Tech's hearing instruments. |
Touchless Telephone ResponseThis function allows Micro-Tech's hearing instruments to switch automatically into telephone mode so use of a standard telephone is as easy as picking up the receiver. |

Smart FeaturesHearing aids aren't helpful if people don't wear them. And too often, patients become confused when learning to use their hearing aids, abandoning the use of multiple features or programs. That's why Micro-Tech's hearing instruments have convenient features to make using the devices simple and intuitive. |
